Several MLS clubs maintain competitive defensive records midway through the 2026 regular season, with roughly a dozen matches remaining for most sides, keeping the clean-sheet race wide open. Los Angeles FC and Nashville SC lead with 11-12 shutouts apiece behind strong goalkeeping from Hugo Lloris and Brian Schwake, while Houston Dynamo and Vancouver Whitecaps sit close behind at nine or ten. The market’s clustered probabilities around 36-50% reflect this parity, as no team has established a commanding edge and late-season form, fixture congestion, or roster adjustments could easily shift totals. Traders appear to view the outcome as fluid given comparable defensive metrics across multiple Eastern and Western Conference sides.
