This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals during the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Only goals scored in Ligue 1 matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., domestic cups, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, international matches) will not count for this market. If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is canceled or not completed by June 14, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Ligue 1 top goalscorer market reflects a wide-open field early in the 2026-27 campaign, with Other holding 50% implied probability and no single player exceeding 44%. Estéban Lepaul leads named options at 44%, followed by Ousmane Dembélé at 16.5% and a long tail of forwards including Ludovic Ajorque, Ferran Torres, Folarin Balogun, and Maghnes Akliouche all below 11%. This tight clustering stems from balanced squad depth across PSG, Marseille, Monaco, and Lyon, where multiple strikers and creative attackers share minutes, favorable fixtures, and penalty responsibilities. Pre-season transfers, injury recoveries, and tactical shifts have yet to separate contenders, while historical patterns show Ligue 1 scoring titles often decided by narrow margins amid variable form and rotation. Traders price in realistic upset potential for several underdogs given the league's parity.
