PSG enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as overwhelming favorites for a sixth straight title and automatic Champions League qualification, backed by a deep squad featuring Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, and new additions like Maghnes Akliouche and Ferran Torres under Luis Enrique. Pre-season models project the capital club with over 90% likelihood of finishing in the top four, leaving the contest for the remaining European places wide open among Lens, Lille, Lyon, Monaco, Marseille, and Rennes. Early 2026-27 results show Monaco atop the table after three matches, while PSG sit lower following mixed results, though the season remains in its infancy with 31 rounds left. Key variables include squad rotation demands from PSG’s European schedule, summer transfer impacts, and consistency from mid-table challengers without comparable European commitments. Historical patterns favor established sides maintaining form through the winter and spring schedule.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
