Paris Saint-Germain enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as clear frontrunners for a sixth straight title and automatic Champions League qualification, backed by squad depth, recent European success, and summer reinforcements around stars like Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé. Early results have seen Monaco top the table after three wins while Lyon and Lille sit close behind, with PSG on just two points following draws and a defeat. Lens, the prior season’s runners-up, along with Lille, Lyon, and Rennes remain the primary contenders for the remaining top-four spots that deliver league-phase access or qualifying rounds for the 2027-28 competition. Factors such as European fixture congestion, injury management, and mid-season form will shape the final qualification picture.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
