At the start of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season, the market for the team with the most clean sheets shows tight clustering around 42% implied probability across nearly every club because no side has established a clear defensive edge through preseason results or roster moves. Early campaign uncertainty stems from similar preparations across the league, with teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Lille, and Monaco balancing attacking ambitions against backline stability while mid-table sides such as Lens, Nice, and Strasbourg focus on compact structures and set-piece organization. Historical patterns of variable goalkeeping form and fixture congestion further flatten expectations, leaving the outcome dependent on how quickly each squad adapts once matches begin.
