The 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura assist race remains wide open after the first six matchdays, with no player exceeding four assists and implied probabilities clustered tightly among a broad group of midfielders and wingers. Early leaders such as Carlos Rodríguez of Cruz Azul sit alongside emerging contributors like Juan Brunetta, Diego Rossi, and Robert Morales, while contenders including Richard Ledezma, Brian Rodríguez, Lucas Ocampos, Ezequiel Bullaude, and José Paradela post comparable seasonal totals and xA marks. Strong attacking units at América, Toluca, Monterrey, and Cruz Azul create consistent chance-creation volume, and the 28-match regular-season schedule plus Liguilla leaves ample runway for form surges or late surges from depth options. Roster depth, tactical setups favoring overlapping fullbacks and creative No. 10s, and the absence of any single dominant distributor keep the field compressed in trader pricing.
