Lamine Yamal enters the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as the consensus leader for most assists, backed by his prior titles in the category and consistent chance creation from the right wing in Barcelona’s fluid attack. Vinícius Júnior, Anthony Gordon, and a broad group of midfielders and wingers trail closely, reflecting the depth of creative options across top sides. Early-season results show distributed contributions from players like Raphinha, Pedri, and Arda Güler, while factors such as squad rotation, set-piece duties, and head-to-head fixtures among Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético keep the race open. The wisdom of crowds in current pricing captures this parity, with no single player holding an overwhelming edge in form or opportunity volume after just a handful of matchweeks.
