This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team earns a place in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League through the 2026-27 Eredivisie season or by winning a 2026-27 UEFA club competition. Qualifying routes that count include the team’s final 2026-27 Eredivisie league position, winning a domestic cup competition that carries a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place, and earning a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by winning the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League or Europa League. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Eredivisie standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution. Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 Eredivisie season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.PSV Eindhoven enter the 2026-27 Eredivisie campaign as clear frontrunners for the title that secures the Netherlands’ lone direct 2027-28 Champions League berth, having won the prior three seasons and posting an 84-point tally in 2025-26. They lead the early table on 13 points from five matches after a 3-1 “topper” victory at Ajax on September 5, with new signing Lutsharel Geertruida contributing. AZ Alkmaar sit second on 12 points from four games, while Feyenoord occupy third. Ajax, hampered by a poor recent home record and mixed results, trail further back despite summer reinforcements. Pre-season models already favored PSV heavily, and the loss of a second automatic European spot has raised the stakes for the champion. Key factors ahead include squad depth, European fixture congestion for the top sides, and whether challengers can sustain momentum through the winter schedule.
