This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team achieves promotion from the EFL Championship to the Premier League for the 2027-28 season at the conclusion of the current league season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official promotion is defined as a team clinching a place in the Premier League for the 2027-28 season through their final standing in the EFL Championship, via playoff victory, or by any other official league decision recognized by the EFL Championship and Premier League. If the 2026-27 EFL Championship season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the EFL Championship and Premier League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Coventry City secured automatic promotion as 2025-26 EFL Championship winners with 95 points under Frank Lampard, ending a 25-year absence from the Premier League after a dominant campaign that included strong goal difference and consistent results. Ipswich Town followed in second place with 84 points for the second automatic spot following their recent relegation. Hull City claimed the final promotion berth by defeating Middlesbrough in the May 2026 play-off final at Wembley, overcoming a mid-table regular-season finish through the knockout format. These outcomes reflected verified league table positions, with the top two advancing directly and the play-offs deciding the third team amid standard EFL rules before the 2026-27 expansion to six teams. Trader consensus aligned with these confirmed results once the season concluded in May.
