The 2026–27 Slovenian PrvaLiga remains wide open after early rounds, with Maribor atop the table on 15 points from seven matches while Koper, Bravo, Celje, and Olimpija Ljubljana sit within four points. Celje’s 2025–26 title and strong European campaign have not translated into dominance yet, as Maribor’s unbeaten start and Koper’s consistent results keep multiple clubs in realistic contention for second place. Recent form shows balanced scoring and defensive vulnerabilities across the league, with no team establishing clear separation through the opening fixtures. This parity, combined with the long schedule and potential for mid-season shifts in squad depth or momentum, sustains tight implied probabilities across the field for the runner-up spot.
