This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the champion of the Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Multiple clubs with recent Ligue 1 experience—Saint-Étienne, Reims, Montpellier, Nantes, and Metz—plus ambitious sides like Annecy, Rodez, and Red Star create deep parity across the 18-team field.** Relegated sides Nantes and Metz bring squad resources and coaching stability (including Michel Der Zakarian at Nantes), while Saint-Étienne and Reims carry promotion ambitions after prior near-misses. Early 2026-27 results show Saint-Étienne leading the table, but with only a handful of matchdays completed, form remains fluid. The two automatic promotion spots and playoff structure further spread probability, as historical patterns and squad depth suggest several realistic paths to the title. Trader consensus therefore clusters tightly around 46.5–49% implied probabilities, reflecting an unusually open race where small edges in recruitment, injuries, or momentum can shift outcomes over the long season.
