If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Egypt Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Egypt Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Egypt Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early 2026-27 Egyptian Premier League campaign remains wide open for runner-up honors after just a handful of matches, with Pyramids FC, Al Ahly, and defending champions Zamalek all posting strong starts alongside solid showings from Ceramica Cleopatra and Al Masry. Pyramids sit atop the table on maximum points from three wins, while Al Ahly and Zamalek follow closely with comparable results and goal differences, reflecting balanced squad depth and attacking output across the leading sides. New coaching appointments at the Cairo giants and Pyramids, combined with varying continental schedules, have kept preparations even and prevented any single club from pulling clear. Historical patterns of tight three-way title races in recent seasons further support trader consensus that multiple clubs retain realistic paths to second place depending on form, injuries, and fixture congestion through the split-phase format.
